A horse who feels good in his body and mind is calm in his thinking, soft in his steps, and fluid in his movement. A receptive mind aids in the ability to learn and grow. A comfortable body preserves health and longevity. A life with less stress is typically a life better and longer lived.

Teach your horse how to bend, flex, and be supple in his mind and in his body. Teach your horse that while learning is not easy, it doesn't have to be stressful. It can be rewarding. A quiet, thinking mind can help a horse a great deal in life. In fact, it can be life-saving to teach a horse how to think in a manner which allows him to assess a situation and navigate it mindfully.

Teach your horse balance, good posture and movement. If you don't know what that looks like, learn from someone who does. Strengthen your horses so when you add your weight to their back they're not struggling. It is live-giving for the horse to learn self carriage so he can move in a way which protects his joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles.

Is your horse comfortable in their mind and body? Are they at peace? Do they move softly? Do they breathe deeply? Do they think thoughfully? Is learning and growth a good experience, or is it met with resistance and frustration?

If you seek guidance, please reach out. The mission is always happy horses and happy people.

Foraging, soft movement, and healthy mobility are several ways to help your horse feel good in their mind and body.
